Do Good and Good Shall Follow You!

Do Good and Good Shall Follow You!

Think of yourself as some sort of balance scale. Once you do good for another, then this will create some deficit of good in you. Therefore, this leaves ample space for another individual to do good to you. This in turn restores the balance. It is popularly referred to as the Karmic return law. However, it is obvious that Mother Nature has her own ways of ‘balancing the equation’. You can never expect some sort of immediate reaction to every good that you do. The Universe works on its time. Good things will follow you, but not immediately.

Though not literally, Newton also explained this phenomenon. His 3rd Law of Motion states that “every positive force is followed by an equal negative force”. The translation in this case will be ‘for every good deed you do, there will be an equal force’. That is just how the Universe works. In a bid to balance the equation, the same applies to bad deeds. Do bad to another and be rest assured that a bad thing will find a way to come back to you. It operates more like a boomerang!

A simple “Thank you”, hugging someone in need of a hug, small talk on a bus, buying a homeless person lunch, throwing a dinner party for friends and family or even recycling; there is no shortage of good deeds to do! It is said that the simple things make the largest difference. Make someone happy, do something nice and Mother Nature will definitely return the favor.
