Prayer – The Road to Inspiration
The art of praying is closely associated with religion. Religious chants are termed as prayers. But prayers are also a method for a person to become motivated and inspired. Prayers need not be religious chants or hymns. A five minute silence in a secluded place to think of all the positives in one’s life can work wonders and help the person to remain calm and happy.
Praying helps the mind focus as one is serene during praying. Chanting the hymns allows the mind to concentrate on one single thing and this helps the person to regroup his thoughts.
Prayers provide the person with positive energy. Research has shown that saying prayers aloud creates positive vibrations all around and this has a healing effect on the body.
Prayers offer renewed hope and solace to the person. The trouble facing him seems not so difficult and one starts weighing the different options available to him.
The positive affirmations of prayer help to erase the bitterness and also help the person to cope with the realities of life better.
Prayers help to inculcate a sense of discipline in the young and they tend to grow up with an ability to analyze their actions and choices better.
Daily prayers help the person to be honest and able to connect with himself better. It gives him the confidence to do his work in a much more efficient manner. It helps the person to successfully complete the tasks that he has set out to do during the day. If things go wrong he can fall back on the confidence that things will eventually be right.
